Founded by a mother and her daughters, Fair Isle Needleworks is a modern needlepoint destination inspired by the beauty of craftsmanship, creativity, and connection.

The name Fair Isle comes from a traditional knitting technique originating on Fair Isle, a small island in Scotland's Shetland archipelago. Known for its intricate patterns and timeless appeal, Fair Isle has long been synonymous with warmth, heritage, and effortless style. It evokes the feeling of being both cozy and beautifully put together, much like your favorite sweater on a crisp winter afternoon.

That feeling is at the heart of everything we do.

Fair Isle Needleworks was created to bring a fresh and elevated perspective to the stitching experience through thoughtfully curated canvases, beautiful fibers, and a welcoming community of makers. We believe needlepoint is more than a craft. It is a way to slow down, create something meaningful, and gather with others who share a love of beautiful, handmade things.
